Rural environment

In the rural environment we propose highly intensive agricultural systems bound to ecological processes. We design production models with a high level of interactions between the components of the system, thus promoting resilience and efficiency in the management of available resources, positively impacting the social, environmental and economic dimensions. The restoration and conservation of the soil are a priority since we understand that it is the most important capital for the agricultural producer, for them we offer systematization tools that help to mitigate the loss of soil due to climatic agents.

Keyline design

The Keyline is a design methodology that allows addressing the production dynamics of any establishment in a holistic way. The infrastructure is ordered and the productive scenario is proposed in a sustainable way, taking into account the climatic, geographical, hydrological, edaphic, energetic and environmental variables, typical of each site. Managing to create a productive ecosystem where the necessary resources are reused, recycled and are reduced.

Reland is one of the first companies in Argentina to import and implement this australian methodology. We project a series of Keyline patterns to optimize rainwater, prevent erosion and store water for later use.

Keyline design includes:

  • Keyline pattern design

  • Biological corridors

  • Erosion control

  • Access

  • Forestation

  • Water harvest

  • Zoning and productive layout

hydrological analysis

For producers interested in understanding the hydrological dynamics in their properties, we offer topography and site survey services, in order to be able to understand, through GIS software and hydraulic models, the movement of rainwater on the ground.

The Hydrological Analysis includes:

  • Topographic survey

  • Hydrological modeling

  • Water balances

Erosion control

Reland offers a variety of solutions for erosion control in the productive and rural environment, inserting the interventions in harmony with the productive layout. With structural interventions, which require space and machinery for their construction, we generate action guidelines that help mitigate the impact of production on the ground.

These are some of the most common practices:

  • Cover crops

  • Biological corridors

  • Buffers on banks

  • Mixed crops

  • Keyline design

  • Waste management

  • Sediment capture

Biogas production

Biogas is a mixture of gases with concentrations of methane (CH4) ranging from 60 to 70%, carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrogen (H+) and other gases. It is obtained from fermentation.

Biogas is a valuable source of thermal energy, mechanical power and electrical energy. Unlike other renewable energies, biogas can be stored, its production can be planned and continues regardless of weather conditions. Likewise, after the fermentation of the solid substrate, a liquid residue remains in the biodigester with a very high value as a biofertilizer.

Bio-inputs production

Among the greatest advantages of producing our own inputs, is the gain in the profit margin, by dispensing with the dependence on external inputs. On the other hand, crop cycles are shortened, accelerating economic returns. In addition, the harvested products are endowed with better commercial quality with great nutritional aptitude.

The elaboration of our own inputs is decisive to take a leap in the productive and economic efficiency of the project. On the other hand, it contributes to significantly reduce the negative externalities inherent to agriculture.
